Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe came from a multicultural family. Born in South London. Both her parents have both been English. Her family was raised in a south London council estate and attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was a part of various stages during her high school days, including the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. In the years since Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. In February of 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series on ABC Revenge in two episodes. In May 2013 that she would be leaving the series following an appearance in the initial episode of season three. She was Tituba in the TV series Salem between 2014 and. From June to July 2012, she married her long-time boyfriend, actor Iddo Goldberg. Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's athletic brothers played baseball in summer as well as hockey in winter. Ashley was not a walker, but she was a dancer. When she was two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered her love for dance at this age. Ashley was a competitive dancer across all major divisions until she finished high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, jazz, tap as well as pointe and the acrobatics.
